Hays City Shootout: The Hays High Lady Indians upset the #1 6A Washburn Rural Lady Jr Blues 37-33! The Lady Indians move on to the championship game vs the Fort Smith Northside Lady Bears at 5:00 on Saturday.

The Hays High boys and girls basketball teams take round 1 in the Hays City Shootout with wins over Newton. The Lady Indians will play Topeka Washburn Rural at 6:30 and the boys will Lawrence Freestate at 8:15 at Hays High on Friday.
The 40th annual Hays City Shootout is underway with TMP vs Washburn Rural.
