School Starts: 7:57 A.M. *Students must be in their classroom at this time.* Breakfast Starts: 7:30 A.M. Students not eating breakfast may also be dropped off at this time. Drop Off: *The doors will be unlocked at 7:30 A.M.* . KDG & First Grade Students -- Will be dropped off on TMP Road on the North side of school. Second & 4th Grade Students -- Will be dropped off in the parking lot by the cafeteria doors. Third & 5th Grade Students -- Will be dropped off on the circle drive in Front of the building. **All siblings may come in the same door, using the drop-off door where the oldest sibling comes in. Dismissal Time: 3:07 P.M. Kdg. & 1st grade – Dismiss at TMP Road (Playground) 2nd & 4th grade – Dismiss at cafeteria doors (Main Parking Lot) 3rd & 5th grade – Dismiss at front doors (Circle Drive) ***If your K/1st grade student has an older sibling, please have the older sibling go get the younger sibling from their classroom at dismissal time. They will then both dismiss from the older sibling’s dismissal door. If you have older siblings at both dismissal doors, pick the dismissal location that works best for you, and let their teachers know which dismissal location you will be using. *** Half Day Dismissal: 11:22 A.M. (Lunch is Not Served) 6 Early Release Days: 1:00 P.M. (Lunch Is Served) **Dates: 9/9, 10/14, 11/11, 2/10, 3/10, 4/14 Breakfast/Lunch Prices: Full Pay Breakfast = $1.70, Full Pay Lunch = $2.70 Reduced Pay Breakfast = $.30, Reduced Pay Lunch = $.40 Absences: You must call the O’Loughlin Main Office @ 785-623-2510 by 9:00 a.m. to notify us of any absences, even if you have already notified your child’s teacher. Crossing Guard: Daily on Hall Street – 7:30 a.m.-8:00 a.m. & 3:07 p.m.-3:20 p.m. *** To avoid traffic congestion during drop off and dismissal times: When there is a crossing guard, you are welcome to park on a side street, walk with, or have your child walk to the cross walk. The crossing guard will then safely get your child across Hall Street & the Circle Drive. ***

Attention O’Loughlin Families!! PTA has set up a link for you to purchase masks and gaiters for your children or yourself. There are many color options and they will have an O’Loughlin logo on them. They will be sold at cost to make them affordable. There will also be an option to purchase extra masks if you would like to donate them for other students. If needed, please call the school office at 623-2510 if your child will be needing a mask at no charge. Please follow the link below to make your purchase from Hays Tees. Online orders will be taken until Friday night, August 21. You may have to enter a zip code, but please do not choose shipping, as PTA will have them all delivered to school. We expect the order to come in shortly after school starts, so purchases will be delivered to students at school. Pictured below are samples for you to check sizes. Attention All O'Loughlin Families! We are excited to announce that we will be having a Modified Back-To-School Night for our students on Monday, August 24. Please look for emails and messages from the principal and the teachers with details and procedures for how this will be done following COVID Safety Guidelines. Although we are still working on rosters, teachers have tentative lists of students and will be contacting them in the next few days. Thank you for your "Patience, Flexibility, and Grace!"

We are excited to announce the 2020 American Legion School Award winner for O'Loughlin Elementary School. Bryson Dumler was chosen by the Fifth Grade Teacher's Team as the student who demonstrated high standards in many honorable characteristics including, integrity, patriotism, civic engagement, and academic performance. Bryson is pictured with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Matt Dumler, and Fifth Grade Teachers, Mrs. Sarah Smith, Mrs. Oborny, and Mrs. Zimmerman. Mrs. Herl was unable to be present for pictures. We are Proud of you Bryson! Congratulations to you and your parents!

Good Morning O'Loughlin Families! This is a reminder that you may drop off your iPads today from 11:00 to 1:00. Please note a LOCATION CHANGE: Drive through the front circle drive and drop them off in the busing zone near the south exit door. This will also be in effect tomorrow, June 30, from 3:00-5:00.

iPad Check-in for O'loughlin Elementary is scheduled for Monday, June 29 from 11:00-1:30 and Tuesday, June 30 from 3:00-5:00. Please drive by the cafeteria door for drop-off. Check emails for additional information.
