Fall Sports notifications:
In accordance with KSHSAA guidelines, the Maroon and Gold Kickoff has been cancelled for August 28th, 2020 and won’t be rescheduled.
There will not be a Fall Sports parent meeting. Each sport will now schedule its own parent night. More information will be coming in the near future regarding Parent meetings.

All Hays HS student athletes must have a completed Hays HS physical/sports form packet signed and turned in to the Hays HS Athletic office prior to the first day of practice on August 17th. Your athlete will not be able to participate in practice or games until all the forms are signed and submitted. Please do not give to the coach, they must be turned in to the HHS Athletic office. The following is the latest announcement from the KSHSAA in regards to Middle and High School sports/activities for the upcoming school year. We will post any news regarding the 20-21 sports/activities seasons as soon as received. We will continue with the current summer workouts and weightlifting schedules at Hays HS until we are notified of any changes to implement:

The KSHSAA believes participation in school and school activities is critical for the students of Kansas and we strive to provide those opportunities for students this fall. This Friday (7/17) the KSHSAA had planned to distribute considerations and guidance for all fall activities to take place starting August 17. With the announcement today (7/15) from Governor Kelly, we will not release any information Friday. Rather we will go back and look at models and plans that are in place with a delayed start and release information when appropriate.
There will not be an announcement/release of information this Friday.
